The Polaris Maxx has awesome suction, quiet when moves up the walls to the surface. Can maintain along the walls for a good amount of time. Keeps pool nice and clean

So far so good. It vaccums really well and goes up the walls. However, it does not clean the stairs. The hoses are made out of plastic that scrapes very easily, I hope they last because I cannot find replacements online. I am waiting for my rebate as well.

Automatic pool cleaners have a difficult time with steps and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. We recommend regular brushing of the steps, and once the debris is dislodged, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool.
