Working well We had the black version for years, this was a nice switch for a white plaster pool.
Minor Science Project I have a love / hate relationship with pool cleaners… to me they are either incredible or the worst piece of junk ever designed... usually the latter.Our Polaris 380 finally drowned after 5 years and rather than put more money into another rebuild kit, we opted to bite the bullet and get the P39. Pool clean Just received and after 2 days it works great.
Best Pool Vac I have owned I have owned two other top brands of pool vacs. Both dumped a load of gunk back into the pool when you remove them unless you turn them upside down which is a pain. This vac does not allow anything out when you remove it straight up. My wife could not connect or disconnect the old units feeder hose, this one slips in nicely and comes out easily, but stays put. A great upgrade from my 14 year-old 280 The P39 is much better than my old 280. The wider tires navigate the seams in my vinyl pool with ease where my 280 would often get stuck or turned around at the depth transitions or on the main drain covers. It's a little annoying to empty out the dual-chamber bag but I also have to do it less often. It cleans my pool quickly and efficiently with a lot less frustration and wasted run time. Very glad I upgraded.
Cleans Quickly Just purchased cleaner as my old Kreepy Krauly had reached its demise. Received $200 mail in rebate. Very easy to install and cleaned my pool quickly. Seems to be climbing the walls well and even cleans the steps. It does not get caught in the corners like my Kreepy Krauly had for the past few years but to be fair it was approximately 8 years old with a couple rebuilds.Decided to try Polaris this go around due to popularity. Only had it for a few days now but so far very pleased!
