How do you get the refund for the purchase
My pool is 44 years old. My last 4 pool cleaners were polaris. Standard, black max and the last 2 were equivalent to the P39. My only complaint with the P39 is the housing only lasts 2-3 years before wearing a hole in the front from rubbing against the rounded surface of the pool stairs. So on my second P39, I epoxied a strip of hard plastic 4”x1” on the front extended surface like a bumper. This week I replaced the “bumper “ because it was wearing thin. This pool sweeper works awesome. Bought it about 3 or 4 years ago. I love it. Bag has never got caught. Read previous review it must be the bag is on wrong if gets tangled. Excellent cleaner. I buy the bag it comes with.
Great machine that cleans like a dream. And unlike the older model, it does not wind itself up into a ball. Hallelujah.
I want to love this pool cleaner, except the Water Management System is poorly designed. It clogs if there is any small debris in the pool bottom and requires you to take it apart and clear the small particles. The wheel water jet is not accessible without taking the WMS off the unit. VERY POORLY DESIGNED unless you keep a clean pool. Stick with the less expensive and simpler design Polaris in my opinion.
In response to reviews that mention that the bag gets caught in the wheels... I had the same thing happening. Then, I realized that the bag needs to be secured using the velcro that is a part of it in such a way that it stands upright, with the white hose running up through the center of the bag. Problem solved. This is a very high-quality, well-designed accessory which helps keep my pool incredibly clean. I get many compliments that my pool is always sparkling clean and clear of debris, and this is the secret.
This thing is amazing. My old one was falling apart and pool got dirty from a storm. I bought this one in 4 hours it had cleaned most of the debris. 12 hours late and i added my chemicals. Water was crystal clear highly recommend.
I rate the Polaris P 39 a 5,0 on a 5.0 star basis. All of the pool is exceptionally clean. The bag is easy to remove and clean. After some initial time of the hose getting wrapped within itself, the longer the hose is stretched out in the pool after use, the better the supply hose performs. I am happy with this pool sweep and glad I made the purchase. I have owned the Polaris P 39 for seven (7) months.
I found after several weeks my bag was badly worn on both sides. I found that sometimes the bag gets caught in the wheels and then the P39 stops on the floor or goes very slowly. I told Polaris I think they have a design flaw. At least they sent me a new bag. When it's running it does a great job of cleaning, much better than my 380.
