Expensive and not much better than cheaper versions Anyone who has had to replace there polaris in the past year knows that these things have pretty much doubled in price in the last 3 years. I decided to upgrade to the P39 from a more entry level pressure side cleaner in hopes I would get more than one swim season of service before I have to overhaul or replace. Wheel and axle fell off the first day. Bag is poor design Unit broke first day sent it back. New has worked a week so far. Does not seem to do as well as the previous version. Less tail movement and harder to get it out of the deep end despite trying several positions on valve. After 3 months I am getting ready to order my third net. The new design net has weak zippers that are hard to operate and will fail quickly. The bag does not have a velcro strap to hold it up like the older model. Horrible product This product is horrible. Does not work and help from Amazon is not there
2 chamber bad design is garbage The 2 chamber bag design is absolute garbage for the price you pay for this cleaner. This needs 1 big bag instead of 2 chambers, takes too long to empty and the clean. Plus you need to put your hands in the bag the empty it. They need to come up w an after market bag so I can replace this POS.
Works Poorly It constantly gets stuck on the main drain, have a big pool so have 2 in the deep end, it climbs on top of them easily and then just sits there, constantly having to pull it off of it, old models never had this problem!
Junk, broke after 2 years This thing is junk, I bought it 2016 and it already lost suction, the sucking jets don't work anymore therefore no vacuum action. The wheels don't turn either. I changed the reverse bulb but no help. I will have to tear it apart and look because I dare not bring it to Leslie's.
