It does everything it said it would do
The instructions are crystal clear and the first time setup a breeze. As soon as we put the robot to work, it moved along the bottom and climbed on the walls as required. It saved me a lot of time. We bought the house in October. The pool; did not have a cover. We removed as many leaves as we could; however we could not see the deep end and this is where the PCX 852 saved the day. Very easy to use and does a great job cleaning in a short period of time.
Had this unit for about a month and it has worked exactly as promised. No real bells and whistles but does a nice job with a pool that gets very dirty very quickly with old oak tree debris. Wish I had bought this years ago.
Its a great device, but has a habit of turtling sometimes when it comes to the edge of our round 24' pool an acute angle.
Machine covers pool area very well and collects alot of debris
I have a 27 foot round, above ground pool- 20 years old and still in very good condition ! My previous pool cleaner stopped working. The Polaris 852 is the replacement. It is a bigger machine , it cleans the floor and the walls and I love how easy it is to retrieve from the pool !!
