Very reliable. No problems after 3 pool seasons. I purchased the Polaris 280 to replace my unreliable Polaris 360. The Polaris 280 has not required repair after 3 pool seasons. It still has the original bag! I live in Maryland so my pool is open for about 4 months a year. I run the Polaris about 4 hours a day. The Polaris 280 keeps my pool very clean. You have to look really hard to find a spec of dirt in my pool. This is a great product!

I'm so glad I went with this model. I have owned Polaris Pool Sweeps for nearly 30 years. My last one was the 180 model and I had that one rebuilt 3 times. But finally it was just done and was not worth another rebuild. Of course my pool store was trying to sell me the latest more expensive model but I just didn't have that much money . Already assembled! Came assembled. Cut the hose to the proper length and it worked like a charm.

Not sure if this is a new product Packageing was beat to h*** when it arrived. Also it obviously had been repackaged as there was a backpack inside with the pool sweep. Will find out tomorrow if all the parts are present and if it is working properly.

Better than my old 380 Black Max Great replacement for my old 380 Black Max. Like this one better: seems sturdier, has zipper bag, bag twists off and snaps in and can only go on one way.
