Food was delicious, steak actually cooked well done as I asked! Waitress very helpful!
The restaurant is beautiful and the service was warm and responsive. We were a little disappointed in the food. Most of the items were good, but nothing special. My branzino was dry and overcooked, unfortunately. Neither of us ordered steak, and in retrospect that's probably the direction we should have taken. Dessert was delicious, and we were happy with the wine list. We'll give it another try.
We had a very lovely dinner at Portico. Our one major complaint was that the service of our entree took quite a long time and the server was not very communicative about why there was a delay. But we would be very happy to go back.
Portico is always a wonderful experience. The only thing that wasn't perfect was The Sea Bass which was tasty, however over cooked . Everything else was delicious as usual. The atmosphere is elegant. The drinks amazing. Steak and Lobster cooked to perfection. We really Love Portico.
Our dinner was outstanding. We started with cocktails and wine - appreciated that they had a nice selection of half bottles of wine. The bread was warm and delish. Our wedge salads were fresh and tasty. The veal chop was moist and flavorful, and filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Only critique was the truffle fries could have been crispier. The service was attentive and timely. Overall it was a special meal and definitely is a repeater.
Terrific hostess, waitstaff, and new menu! Nice decor and comfortable seating.
Food was good. French Onion Soup broth was very sweet however. I never tasted a French Onion Soup like that before and I've had many. I didn't really care for it. Steaks were great! Shareable sides were also a bit small as you order them ala cart for the table. Bread serving was huge however hahaha. Overall was a nice experience.

We had a lovely evening at Portico! The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The only issue was our meals weren't that hot when they arrived at the table. We hope to try it again another time!
