My wife and I had a nice dinner with great live music and ambiance. Food this time was so so. Little bland but we also tried something new from the menu this time for us. The drinks were disappointing as we tried some of their specialty ones. I also had a double vodka short which tasted like a single short and that double was $24 which is a little steep especially if I am expecting a true double. Great atmosphere .. great food ... only wish they would bring back chocolate/hazelnut gelato and bombolini. Would love if the Cream of Mushroom & Farro soup would be on the main menu (not just a soup du jour). We were at Portico on a Friday night and they had a guy singing and playing piano which was great.

The filet mignon was excellent as was the homemade pasta. A baseball sized meatball was very good. However a foot long hair in the cream of mushroom soup spoiled the day. The waitress seemed distant or distracted as she said little about the soup, just took it and walked away. She was rarely seen again at our table. We waited 20 minutes to get our check. She started grabbing our plates before asking if we needed to go boxes.
Lobsters were cooked to order delicious will come again
I've noticed the NY Strip Steak is getting more fat and gristle. They used to be 100% eatable.?
We shared a peach salad and suggested that our friends share the salad. Perfect portion when shared. My filet was perfectly cooked. The veal chop was covered in vegetables and a huge portion. Drinks were enjoyed. Love it here.
