I've dealt with a half dozen custodians in the past few years, but Preferred Trust is my hands-down favorite. Everyone there with whom I have spoken is professional, courteous, and competent. They are always upbeat, so it's a pleasure rather than a chore to make contact with them. They get things done, and done quickly. Over the years of having my IRA at PTC, I have been fortunate to have Christina Ramirez in the Client Services Department assist me. She always resolves my questions within minutes. Regarding transactions, I have 2 memorable examples for now. One year, I needed to make an RMD, but I submitted by request late in December. She managed to process it by end-of-year.
