I arrived feeling dizzy, disoriented, unable to answer simple questions. My coworkers drove me there because I couldn't drive. I also had muscle weakness. My temperature was 100.4. The doctor did some blood work to see what was going on. Meanwhile, a nurse began to put an IV in my arm and it was extremely painful. I cried because it hurt so bad. Blood was going down my arm and she began wiping it up with an alcohol and up to the area where the IV went in! That began to sting. The doctor came back and said the blood work cam... read more
I went to Premier Er and the staff was so caring and made sure I got the care I needed this was in Waco next to Baylor they are the best great dr and call and check on me the next day that is the way it should be
$700 to remove a splinter. $700 - we can’t afford to come back to your facility.
At the Waco location, there was essentially no wait time but the male PA was very rude and abrasive. Would not recommend the Waco location as I felt rushed the whole time I was there.
Loved the doctors and they were great when I had an emergency but when it came to paying it was a hassle and they were rude. The person behind me was also paying and they were happy to help him. Made me feel unimportant and they kept talking medical jargon and didn't like that I didn't bring the bill. Very disappointed. Front desk needs to learn from the back staff because they are the first and last people a client sees and can make a huge impact!!
I will never come back to this place. I've been seen TWICE because of an ear infection that has gone on almost a month now & they want me to pay again to get seen when the problem has never gone away. Almost $500 to have the issue taken care of. All they are about is MONEY.
So so so so amazing. We have been there with our young children several times. We got stitches once and a broken arm. They are so fast and so great with the kids. The x-ray tech even x-rayed my son's stuffed animal to make him feel better about getting his arm x-rayed. I can't thank them enough for making the tough times easier.
I truly loved this place up until they started getting too big and not dealing with accounting locally or correctly. Back on 12/23/2015 I had taken my son in early for a bad sinus infection, had they told me that there were different pricing for the hours when you come in I would have waited 30 more minutes and not been charged ER hours, but it is what it is and I dealt with it. We were there all of 10 min, prescribed a basic antibiotic and some OTC sinus decongestion meds a... See More nd sent on our way. I paid $200 out of... read more
Had a horrible experience with Hillcrest ER and ended up walking out. Dr (intern?) on duty wanted to do a CT SCAN and IV for a painful ear infection. The cost would have been outrageous. Two nurses couldn't even put an IV in AND my ear pain seemed to be the least of their focus. Left in tears!!! Went over to Premier ER and 30mins later walked out with ear wick, two RXs (antibiotics & pain meds), AND a $135 bill. On top of that, Mark the NP called me at home to followup!!! Never heard a word from Hillcrest!!!
