Ok...Let me just start by openly saying I am a salon owner and a licensed stylist. My hubby's Christmas party was Saturday night and I wanted to just relax, pamper myself and get a blow dry and make-up done for our night out. Though the stylists in my salon are great and fully equipped to have done the job, I really just wanted to be a customer without feeling the need to jump out of the chair if a client came in. I visited this location after purchasing a groupon for a deep condition, scalp message, and blow out. I was immediately greeted with a big smile and then offered a variety of drinks ( white wine was my choice). After that i was promptly taken back to get started on my hair. Both the scalp message and blowout were awesome !! i asked for a light wave and figured i would have to pay the additional $10 for a curling iron, however my stylist was able to achieve the style without ! My daughter and I went for a special of blow out and make up. I thought the hair for both of us turned out very well. The make up, not so much. We had a special event and we wanted make up that would work well for photographs but not be too theatrical for face to face interaction. The girls were very personable and I believe they tried with the knowledge they had. Having said that I think they could use more education on makeup. The lighting was poor in the make up area. I've been going to the Hayden location, and since I'm clueless about doing my own hair, the monthly membership has been a great deal for me! Super sweet, pro staff, a great look, I'd highly recommend for when you want to look and feel extra pretty!

I was intrested in working here. I know how to style hair, but I was wondering if you guys have some kind of pre training, or education. I'm big on education I'm always hungry to learn, even if its just on blow drying :)

I was recently in Scottsdale on business and needed someone to blow dry my hair and put in my clip on extensions. A friend suggested Primp & Blow. The salon is gorgeous, and a great idea that they also offer makeup services... why aren't other blow dry bars offering that! I decided to get hair and make up done and it was perfect. Movie star glamorous. I went back the next day for a repeat performance. Very hospitable, experienced staff. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience at Primp both times I've been in. The staff was friendly. The salon looks nice and the location is good for shopping, dining and other errands. I love that walk-ins are acceptable and easy. My hair turned out way better than any time I do it at home - even if I take forever I can't compete. Thinking of going here once a week so I don't have to do my hair and my hair lasts longer!

I just had the worst experience that I've had in a long time at a hair salon. It was my first time at primp & blow and I was given Cecilia. Cecelia could care less about what I wanted. In fact, she went running over the wash bowl and I didn't even know where she went. I had to look around for her . When I asked her to do a few things the way I like she just continue to do what you wanted. I asked for a body and curved under. I got flippy hair. She should be fired.
