Needs to take more time with patients and not make them wait astronomical amounts of time to only give you 2 minutes of his.
I can't tell you if the doctor is good or not, but I can tell you he's highly inefficient & inconsiderate of your time. I had an 11:30 appointment, was there at 11:15 with my 7yr-old son, and by 1:00 I was still not seen. I asked the front desk how much longer before I'd be seen & they said there were 2 people ahead of me. I figured that would roughly be another hour or so and asked for my stuff back and left. No apology from the staff which tells me how he runs his office. Time to find a new dr
I saw Dr. Balar recently to seek a second opinion on a sports injury. He appears to be one of those doctors who think the patient is a complete idiot, must not be listened to, and must be talked down to. When I was trying to relate my symptoms, he kept interrupting me and shutting me up. He was extremely rude and condescending. I found this doubly regrettable as I am an accomplished and successful businessman as well as a highly educated scientist; and a relative doctor is his exact opposite.
Provider makes you wait hours even if you are the first patient. He always has people listening into your conversation with him - either remotely or in person. He does not fully answer questions about care. Some staff is friendly while others are abrupt. Lacks attention to detail.
