Wow! My wife and I decided to try Provision for our anniversary this year, and we are so very glad we did. While we have appreciated steak houses such as the Capital Grill and Ruth's Chris in the past, we wanted something farther away from the downtown Indianapolis experience. We love that downtown is vibrant--there's always something going on--but sharing our anniversary with sports fanatics and business event attendees who are in those venues with rowdier outlooks hasn't been appealing. We always love to dine at Provision and the food was wonderful. Great service team too. But on a very slow night our meal took 2 full hours / so I’m not sure if the kitchen was slow? I never want to be rushed but this seemed incredibly lengthy with a mostly empty restaurant. The food and wine does exceed expectations so hopefully this was an anomaly in their usually outstanding dining experiences.
