Great label maker. I have been using this maker at work for about 2 months. I use it about twice a week and it is great. No jams. The only problem is it wastes about a 1/2" of the labels when you cut. You can get away without this waste if you print more then one label at a time which is great. I print about 50 copies at a time so i only get this waste at the end of the printing job.
Great labeler! Love the wide variety of functions and options on this! Most of the time we just use regular 'ol labels, but having the ability to do more is always a good thing!
So disappointed I didn't check earlier. Edit: I called and talked to someone at Brother and told them how sloppy the film was on the screen. I told him how hazy it was underneath and asked if there was another film . He said yes but it was very very hard to get off. So under the film the screen was clear. However, the top films were still nasty looking like it had been repackaged. I tried it out and it worked well so I'm going to change my stars to 4 . Wonderful little versatile tag printer - But you will waste some tape anyway I like the product . Very sharp printing, reazonably speedy and it is easy to use. Just do not give 5 stars due to the "empty space curse" that some of the Brothers printers do. NO matter what you do it always print 2cm of wasty empty tape, cuts the tape and then print what you want. It happens the same if you print from the computer (USB printing). Great Label Maker To Get You Organized (I only regret not getting the carrying case) Personal Experience: This is the second of this exact label maker I have purchased. WOW I love this machine! I tried one of the less expensive Brother label printers, but returned it because I could not read the non-backlit LCD. It was very low contrast, and I was very disappointed. I searched for one with a backlight, and ran across this one - with an LED screen - in full color, and graphical user interface. I have to say, it is almost an Apple experience using it!
