You can get up and running without reading the instructions that is a real time-saver The first thing I like about this machine is that you can use it completely without a computer. You can also use it without reading the instructions so you can get up and running in no time at all. You can bring it anywhere and make labels on the go. Bigger is Better Bigger is better when it comes to ummmm?.. aging eyes. I'm grateful for the larger font sizes and the ability to color coordinate for quicker discovery at a glance.
.25'' to 1.'' tapes available, large print to .5'' on 1.'' wide tape. Many block options I bought it to replace my older DYNO D1 label maker due to small print size for tool cabinet doors, very handy to have for ID on a engine wire harness when pulling the engine. I also like the available width sized tapes and plenty of text and line block opptions. It's too big for use as a ad held unit, although it's larger size makes for quick use on a counter or desk top. I bought 2 more for eachof my sons.

PTD600 Great Label Maker... but don’t forget to remove second lcd protective film covering This label maker/printer just flat out rocks! It works great and is so much fun to use. The only issue I had was unpacking it, really, unpacking it. Look, I am no dummy but I missed an important step that caused a lot of angst. When I first got it, l took it out of the box and bag, removed the plastic film on the lcd and tape windows, put 6 AA batteries in, I powered it up and got this weird rainbow diagonal line pattern.
