Very slow service.
Service was not the best but a nice place for dinner near Carnegie Hall.
Consistently delicious food with excellent service
Service, as usual, was on point. I enjoyed the branzino, but my husband felt the scallop dish was small for the price. He regretted not ordering an appetizer. The banana creme pie was not that interesting. It was mostly banana slices placed on end covered with a layer of whipped cream and shaved chocolate on a graham cracker base. I assumed the fruit would be encased in a creamy pudding. Even with sharing it, we left half of it.
This experience was a good reminder that dining in midtown can be a very mixed bag. Summary of service: I ordered bottled water. It was poured into a glass (fine) but when I tasted the water I realized that the glass was dirty. I told the server, who said, “no problem” (a phrase that should be OUTLAWED at a place this expensive) took my full glass, poured it out, and brought me a clean one. Cheese cake was Devine! The staff was so friendly and it was a wonderful place to celebrate.
Great atmosphere and wonderful service and food - so handy when staying at the Park Central
