We expected anywhere on NYC to be busy this time of year, so slower service was expected. Food was very good. Service OK. Tables way to close together, felt uncomfortably close to our neighbors. Had to move the table just to be seated!
Sushi was amazing. Kitchen had an off night. One meal was really late and on steak was extremely rare (ordered medium).
Not nearly as good as before it closed.
Atmosphere, drinks, food and Service was excellent
Food is still very good, but it’s just a little tired. Needs a jumpstart. Too many tourists and not enough locals. Too many “women if a certain age”. And I’m one of them.
Excellent food and great overall service and atmosphere!! Spent the evening celebrating the holidays with family! Would definitely come back!
This was our first time in the Redeye Grill since the fire. The service was excellent. Two of the three sushi rolls we had were excellent — the salmon and cream cheese roll and the rainbow roll. The “spicy” tuna roll was quite bland, unfortunately. Also, the soy sauce was served already poured into small dishes. I would recommend due to location. Went for brunch on 12/15. They were unprepared apparently for Holiday crowds. I arrived for my reservation, said my guests may have already arrived, was being led to table in back when my friend approached and led me to the table where they were seated in window, having given reservation when arrived.
