Excellent service from start to finish, and excellent food (guacamole was fantastic/seafood lasagna was perfection). I highly recommend Redeye Grill! I’ll definitely be back.
Wanted to like Redeye, but Sunday afternoon is not the best time to eat here. Several menu items were unavailable. Lasagna was burnt and risotto was overcooked. Hopefully it is better at other times
The service was fantastic as was the food. A little bit loud, but there was live music in the bar so understandable and the singer was very good. We had a wonderful time. As always.
When you write a restaurant review for Open Table you're asked "What would you recommend this restaurant for?" And then there's a list of things. I'm going to ignore that list and simply say if you want a wonderful dinner, served by friendly, caring, attentive waiters, in an environment that is pleasant and clean, and generally has live piano music in the background so it doesn't interfere with your conversation, eat at The Redeye Grill. Best burger my wife and I have ever had. With a horseradish aioli. Dynamite. Lump crab cake was equally delicious. And the live music is always awesome.

Our family gathers every Christmas in Manhattan, some from out of town. On Christmas Eve we take in a performance together and then embark to a dinner together. This year we returned again on Christmas Eve for a special family gathering dinner to Redeye. The manager who greeted us and seated us was without exception the best part of the evening (she came to the rescue shortly after we were seated). We had to go to a show and they were on top of that deadline, cocktails we very fun. Excellent steak and fish.
