This is my new go-to place for a meal when I have tickets for a performance at City Center. Each person from the waiter to the busboy to the hostess to the manager is attentive and friendly. There's a good variety on the menu. So far every meal I've had has been excellent quality. Prepared and presented very nicely. It's not cheap, but they make you feel like a valued customer, which is really nice. They even bring free, fresh-from-the-oven cookies around (which are delicious!).
The Redeye Grill continues to never disappoint my wife or myself. The food is very well prepared as always and service was totally first class. We have never had a negative experience over the past 15 years and don’t ever envision that possibility from ever happening. Whatever you are doing just continue doing it and the Redeye Grill will be around for many more years!
Usually a great experience. This time a great disappointment. Martini came with shredded ice floating in it, which diluted it and made it poor. Main course was blah, waiter was smug and stood there while others did the work. He asked about timing, and then let the food get overcooked to match our request. Other times, this place is something we look forward to. We'll try again in a month and see.
I'm probably a fairly tough critic but the Redeye passed relatively unscathed. Drinks were good but a bit pricey. We didn't try the appetizers. The salmon with wild mushrooms was very good. The crab cake with shrimp was also very good though don't expect a very large crab cake. And the lobster lasagne was decadent. Our server Craig was wonderful, friendly, informative & very professional. The calamari was delicious, the lobster & crab lasagne was alright, I prefer the vegan squash spaghetti & meatballs, & my friends enjoyed his fillet mignon. The desert was banana custard & there were cookies that were brought around. After dinner, 2 bottles of wine & desert I was beyond satisfied.
We lucked up on this gem because it was right next to our hotel. Group of six on a Saturday night. Excited that e could easily book a table via the app. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Good options for a variety of food interests. The side dishes to share were amazing, especially the Thai peanut sauce Brussels sprouts. The live entertainment deserves a huge shout out. Phenomenal singer with a great "playlist". Highly recommended by all six of our group!
Always a good bet pre-theater for City Center shows
Terrific all around...service and food were top notch...even when it was a full house noise was NOT an issue...will definitely return!
