Outstanding food, drinks, service, and atmosphere
We had dinner following a concert at Carnegie Hall this past Sunday night. We go here regularly for drinks and food before and after performances. Unfortunately we must have experienced an off night for the kitchen. Our food was not good at all. Mostly over cooked seafood, tough, dry, and not tasty at all. Everything else was great, just not the food.
We chose to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary on what might be "the last day of summer" for the Grill's outdoor "terrace." It was as wonderful as it always has been. with excellent food and service. The only drawback was the absence of the chocolate urn at the front desk; a new supply wouldn't be in until the following day. But the manager and server made up for that absence with chocolate chip cookies, a reliable substitute.
