Naimark generally seems to be simply going through the motions. "Disinterested", "annoyed", "aloof" are all terms I would use to describe his demeanor. He seems more concerned about whether one has paid their co-pay and/or bill than he is about the patient.
Dr. Naimark is utterly ignorant about the existence of antidepressant discontinuation syndrome, which is well-documented. He told me to stop taking Paxil at 10 mg, which is extremely dangerous. Even the maker of Paxil states that it needs to be tapered more slowly than this.
