Great time, friendly staff! Wear old tennis shoes , not water shoes. Tubing will last over 3 hours, so pack food and drinks. Water is not deep so be prepared to drag bottom, stand and maneuver through rocks.
So much fun!!
We had a great time. Water is shallow and you can see to the bottom. There were spots that were too shallow and we got hung up on the rocks, but it wasn't a big deal and we still had a fun time!
Yes, it's a lazy river, but Rivergirl makes it fun with their unique shop and nice people.
River tubing is the preferred method of going down the New River. Because of the river level, kayaking can be difficult as many rocks are often exposed. We had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting a day of fun on a warm summer day.
