The water was low and slow when we went, so a 1-hour float could take much longer.
Very poor communication as to actually getting on the river Only 2 people behind cashier and so many people, they did not know who was waiting first and others were waited on while our family stood there waiting Then never told us that we had to give the 1 person directing each group at the loading area down by the river our reservation slip to set us up with a ride up to the departure area so we wasted another 1/2 hour b4 we figured out the system Not well directed at all ---booked too many and not enough employees to handl... read more
Comfy tubes with headrests, great staff, fun placehad lots of fun!!
Be patient! Weather happens - Rain water and River water, both get you wet.
We took a youth group with 17 people total. We came from High Point so the drive was long and we were 7 minutes late. The girl at the front was rude and made a comment about us being late. The whole check in process she had a very unpolite attitude.
Nicest place we have gone tubing yet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Go for 3 hrs, even if you didn't do it before
Take water shoes. Rent a cooler tube and bring snacks. Bring a LOT of sunscreen. It's a lot of fun!!
