Service was great and the food was good (not great), but I can't figure out why they closed to renovate and rebrand. It looks very similar expect for the booths and the music is so odd and does not fit the ambience.

An influencer got me in the restaurant and overall it was good. My lamb pops were delicious and so was my Cesar salad. My gf said her lobster pasta was delicious too and my bf said he loved his steak. We had 8:15pm reservation so that was too late for me to eat pasta but I’d go back again earlier to try it. Just a few things off that night, tv was showing Ariel videos from around the world. Stick to Italy! Music was your typical pop music. Stick to music from Italy and give customers that real Italy vibe. Lastly they ran out... read more

Excellent first experience at Roman Wolves! Went for Happy Hour, stayed for dinner. TA was our bartender and server. She was SO knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection, provided great recommendations, and was super friendly to talk to. Not to mention that she makes a delicious espresso martini ☺️ We will definitely be back! Thanks to all who made our evening memorable!

Good value for restaurant week. Appetizer portions were smaller than expected (only 2 artichoke hearts) and dessert was only average. Entrees were good though would be better if they used better quality pasta. Servers were friendly and helpful.

Being born and raised in Rome, finally a true authentic Roman style restaurant in San Diego!! Food tasted like home, fresh and simple ingredient, prepared with care and not covered up in grease or extra salt. The Trippa alla romana was light and flavorful, in the Fritto misto the calamari were tender and there was not a hint of oil in the bowl they came in. The Fettuccine Alfredo and the Pasta all'Amatriciana were delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was professional, attentive and never intrusive, letting us enjoy ou... read more

We enjoyed our first trip here. Food was very good. We split the artichoke starter which was excellent. He had the restaurant week fixed price filet. Excellent. I had the pappardelle meatballs in oxtail ragu which was yummy. A bottle of montepulciano @ $65 which is reasonable and ended with tiramisu. Amazing. Next time I want to try the Pinse. You should go.

Got sat 15 min past our reservation. It felt chaotic and didn't seem like they had their flow together
