Everything was fantastic until the room we were in was filled and then the noise level became painful—truly. I have never in my life been bothered by noise in a restaurant and have always shrugged it off when others have mentioned it. I now apologize to all those I have dismissed. My ears felt like they were bleeding when we walked out. I could not hear anyone I was dining with to the point of mutual frustration. There are plenty of restaurants I would expect this at, this is not one of them, nor at this most uncomfortable l... read more
Dinner was great. Good food. A bit noisy and the tables are all slanted and not level. Service was great. They asked us to give up our table after 1:15 of eating and drinking. It was a small company Christmas party. Had us move to the bar that was less impressive. Tight space and bartenders were not friendly.
Food came out within 5min of ordering. Carbonara was like growing up poor eating buttered noodles. Guanciale was just extra value bacon. Rather than peppering the food, they put a ring of pepper on the perimeter of the dish. Bolognese was low quality sausage in Prego sauce. All noodles overcooked. The scarves around the servers necks was a dead giveaway of mediocrity. $100 for two drinks and two plates of pasta. Loud house music playing which was completely out of place. I’m a local and somehow got caught up in a tourist tra... read more
Our meal was great but the restaurant was very noisy. We could hardly have a conversation.
Mediocre Italian if you are expecting homemade pasta and rich flavors. Too much bland, cheap mozzarella all over everything. Pasta tasted liked box, dried pasta. Decent ambience and service.
Really unfortunate experience. First, we had a 4:30 reservation and the restaurant was empty. I noted it was my partner’s birthday. We were seated in the worst table in the house, directly by the front entrance and next to the bar. The bar got exceedingly loud within 20 minutes. The music in the bar was like we were in a club in Ibiza. On my request we were moved to a better table. We ordered fried mozzarella and two pasta dishes: pappardelle bolognese and a short rib special. We also ordered two mocktails. Mocktails were gr... read more
Let me start by saying, I have been to Roman Wolves before and used to rave about it to people, but after this experience I don’t know if I’ll come back or continue recommending it. Jonlucca was our server and it was terrible. He got our orders wrong, we only ordered one whole branzino and he sent out two, and then gave us attitude when we said we only ordered one, and so we just had to keep the second one. Another friend ordered the ragu, he brought out the ravioli and when she said that’s not what she ordered he then went ... read more

Food was great but when the bill came it was $25 corkage fee for the first bottle and $30 for the second, first time I see this anywhere that they charge more on the 2nd. Also we ordered the wheel pasta and the waitress asked if we wanted sliced mushroom, don't remember the fancy name, but it was really around 3-4 slices of this mushroom and it was a $14 surcharge, extreme, they should have told us that it was extra and that much, not just get the surprise in the check
