I placed the order with a pick up time of 30 minutes. The order wasn’t ready when I arrive. The restaurant was short handed. Only one person was at the counter. Although he tried his best, he was clearly overwhelmed. He was unable to answer the phone quickly, unable to ring up orders adequately, unable to service the line that was constantly growing in front of the restaurant. Saturday night is typically the busiest time for a restaurant, but unfortunately management failed to schedule adequately.
I ordered a pizza from them and specifically told the girl 3 × 2 make sure it's well done that I was going to check when I got there before I left the store. Needless to say, when I got there, I opened up the box and it was not well done. The manager came out and he's saying that it wasn't well done I asked him if they could put it back in the oven and he said no, he has to make a new one. It would be another half hour. As always pizza is good but prices are out of control. I ordered a large veggie and a XL half cheese and half sausage. That was it -- nothing else. $68 for take out. They had a non cash adjustment of $6 because I used a credit card. They are making money off of that transaction too! Rosati's was always one of the go to pizza places for me but this will make me think twice where I order from. There are lots of good pizzas out there!
My daughter in law picked up a Veggie pizza on Thursday December 19th 2024. My granddaughter 11 years old and her mom got food poisoning. We took them to Lurie children’s hospital on Friday who diagnosed them. This is due to dirty hands. We reported them to health department.
We did a home delivery and it was hot andndelivery was on time too! I wouldnhowever suggest that they don't stack the pizzas because the bottom pizza carried the weight and the cheese stuck to the box top. I was able to salvage most of it since it was the veggie pizza. The little support tables melted from the heat. May try to find something that doesn't melt.
