Very clean and quickly responsive for paper towel and cleaning spray refills in the weight machines room. Eclectic group of regulars from the elderly to small groups that come in with matching t's. Front desk staff makes a point to greet you on your way in and out which is a touch I appreciate ❤️ It's a friendly place
The facility is smaller than some of the other locations I've visted however the staff and members here are super friendly!!! I lost my phone and a member turned it in & a staff member contacted me... also I did my 1st group exercise class here & I had so much fun, thanks Dianne!!!
I think the Roxborough YMCA is a nice place overall. However, when my husband and I would bring our children between the ages of ten and fifteen to work out four or five to five years ago it became unaccommodating because the kids workout equipment was move out of the main gym area after the first couple of evenings we were there. I didn't understand why this happened. I was only left to assume. My kids were very good and low key like me and my husband's personality. YMCA is a great place for me, there are a swimming pool, basketball, gyms and camping. It is also clean.I really like it.
Despite not having the largest equipment selection, they've managed to include everything necessary for a complete workout. The compact size of the equipment is actually a plus, as it makes the gym feel more spacious and less intimidating, especially for beginners or those looking to focus on specific fitness goals.
