Roxy is still our favorite place to eat! We drive up from CA just for dinner. It's amazing. This time we had the preserved lemon chicken and it was incredible. Filet, perfectly cooked, and the best bernaise I've ever had. There are only two bobbles I would mention. One is that potatoes are kind of an issue. We quit getting the pom frittes as they are too thin and weird. This time I got mashed potatoes and they tasted like water. No garlic, butter or cream was discernible. What a wonderful experience!! Hostess Monica suggested that we move our reservations to an earlier time to take advanage of their early bird specials--a wonderful suggestion. Erik was fantastic as our server. His suggestions and explanations helped us navigate through our menu selections. His pacing were very timely. Cocktails, courses were delivered in a timely fashion. Wife and I came here on date night for the first time ever and we were very impressed. Sam our server was professional and very knowledgeable. He told us about the early bird special (we knew nothing about it) which was an amazing deal. Food was very, very good. We both had the Caesar salad, filet and roxy sundae. We will definitely be back.
