Our experience at the Roxy was wonderful. The food, the ambiance and the service was exceptional. The occasion was to celebrate my wife's birthday and she was very pleased and made a point of planning to return. This was our first visit but it definitely will not be our last. Thank you for the pleasure of having a wonderful dinner at an exceptional place.
Roxy's never disappoints, The staff and service keep me coming back and the quality of food is excellent. I travel all over the US for business and feel Roxy's is up there with any place I've been.
I've been to a lot of steakhouses but the filet mignon here might have been the best I ever had. It was so tender and cooked perfectly inside and out. Plus, our server was great, not to mention the $5 martini's between 4:30-6:30 everyday!
I Still like to take my wife on dates to make her feel special and loved. Roxys Definately allows me to take my wife on a romantic cozy dinner date. The staff is always pleasant. The food always delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy.
Roxy’s is my favorite restaurant in Reno! It has a very comfortable atmosphere and the food is fantastic, I have never had a bad meal there. Try a soufflé, they are the best I have ever had and the change all the time so you can try a new one each time you go. The service is impeccable and is definitely one of the reasons that we frequent this restaurant. Do you like bread? They have bread girls that walk around with baskets of wonderful bacon, cheese bread that is fresh from the oven! What more can I say . . . 5 stars!!!
As usual the food was outstanding at the Roxy. The bone-in filet was wonderful. And the service was also great as usual.
WE HAVE EATEN THERE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS ALWAYS TOP NOTCH. THE SHORTRIBS ARE TO DIE FOR, THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE AND I EVEN MAKE THEM AT HOME SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR. THE PRESENTATION OF THE FOODS ARE VERY NICELY DONE.
Preparation, presentation perfect. Generous portions and great to see "old favorites" like beef wellington and soufflés on the menu. Our waiter was extremely helpful and charming.
We were a group of four. I thought my wife's scallops were a bit over cooked and I've had better French Onion soup. However, everything else we had was very good. It was too loud for me. The piano was loud, which caused guests to speak louder to their table mates. We walked by later, after attending a concert, and they had a DJ in place of the piano. Even though the food was good, I don't think we'll be back.
