We went for my birthday, which is on Christmas Day. They were great! We opted for the prefix menu with wine parings. We enjoyed. The waiter sang happy birthday to me and then the host came and sang it to me in Italian! It is difficult to get restaurants to do the birthday thing on Christmas, but they did great!
Took the family to Roxie after a show. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal, topped with outstanding (shared) deserts.
The food and service were great, however, when we purchased the dinner and show package they said there were black-out dates but the dates were not listed so did not realize the 50% off dining did not apply to our reservation. We were not made aware of this until we arrived for the show and there was a note on the counter. Apologies were made for the fact that the black-out dates were in the fine print and hardly noticeable. A high end restaurant for a classy yet comfortable meal. Rich texture, comfortable booths, and great unobtrusive service. It's a special place we visit for special occasions. In this case, every Christmas Eve when our family is in town.
The food was delicious & the service was attentive w/o being intrusive. Will definitely return!
We had dinner here after going to see "Miracle on 34th Street" live at the El Dorado Casino. Great show and then the dinner afterwards at the Roxy was even better. You must order the lobster escargot style as an appetizer, "amazing". We also started off with the chips and onion dip that my teenage kids loved. Wine list was good, cocktails were good. The food was absolutely wonderful and the wine was great.
They offered me a great deal. When I bought theater tickets the ticket included a discount coupon for the Roxy. Wonderful deal you should not pass up. The food is delicious and the service is terrific. Try a souffle as they are hard to find nowadays and theirs are delicious. Took my daughter out and she enjoyed it too. Oh, the show was terrific. I've taken in 2 shows so far (with the dinner discount included) and both shows were really really enjoyable. Wonderful deal from the El Dorado. Try it, you'll like it.
Service was great, however the bill pick up was so slow we missed the beginning of the play.
