We enjoyed a very nice dinner with friends. We had tickets to the Eldorado theater so our entrees were half price. Looking forward to doing it again,
Enjoyed a wonderful meal prior to a show in the El Dorado theater. Atmosphere is very nice. Our server was attentive and assured our meal was on track for our attending the show on time. Our meal was preceded by a cocktail and a wonderful assortment of hot bread. Don't miss the back-cheese bread. My wife and I both had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. Roxy is a great place for classic dining in the ElDorado Reno hotel. We always make a point to eat dinner here, and this time was spectacular. We enjoyed specialty cocktails, cool romantic old European decor, and great seafood. They also have a great selection of steaks and salads. Service was really great this time (Thanks Tim). five star experience.
Nice atmosphere; service very good; wine list good selection; menu good selection. Out of six of us, 4 happy with their meal; 2 were not. The rib eye steak was very thin...looked like it had been pounded to death...over cooked when ordered med. rare. Pork chop was "ok" but served atop sweet mash potatoes which ruined it. The cheese bacon bread was to die for and the blue cheese salad dressing was excellent. My husband and I went for dinner. Aside from being out of prime rib, the food was good. A nice, romantic setting, good for a dare.
Food was very good, but a bit on the pricey side compared to other places in town. Ambience was too dark (could not really read menu without cellphone lighting).
Out for 26th anniversary .Had a martini @ piano bar during happy hour while waiting for Roxy to open & start seating @ 5. With reservation. lobster and rib eye was very good. Service was great. Received 50% off meal with show ticket. Will definitely go there again

Last year my gay partner and I (we're both gay) had our Thanksgiving meal at the Roxy because my favorite band, Norway's progressive extreme metalists ENSLAVED were playing at the club down the street on Black Friday. HAD SUCH A GREAT AND TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING MEAL THAT WE DECIDED RIGHT THEN TO MAKE THIS OUR YEARLY HOLIDAY TRADITION.
