Attentive wait staff, excellent food, nice decor. Shared/split salad; no problem. My seafood pasta and wife's meaty rib were tasty and adequately sized.
The service was amazing. The food was great. I took a new friend here and it was perfect to chat and get to know each other.
Always make reservations at the Roxy when in Reno. Great food and great service. Watch out for the bacon bread - it's addicting!
We come to Roxy's regularly and have never had a bad meal.. This time, downtown Reno was under a flash flood and the staff was very friendly and seemed to be having a good time even though water was leaking everywhere. Our wait staff was very professional and I enjoyed that they engaged in conversation with us when they could. The food was outstanding and I loved sitting in the back room with the stone walls and tapestry...perfect for a rainy night!
They had great entertainment and the food was beautifully presented and tasted great. We will be back.
Roxy's is a delightful night out. But you need a dress code for men wearing hats, especially baseball caps.
It was loud-ish this time only because the Rodeo was in town, the restaurant was packed and we ended up at a table near the front door. Albert was fantastic as a server - professional, attentive, not overbearing and incredibly friendly! Food was phenomenal - as usual. I had the "High Rollers" wine flight and it was great!
The Hostess this evening is the only one thus far that paid attention to my preference, which listed in my profile with Open Table.
First, know that the food was properly prepared. Second, and most importantly, our group of six were fortunate to have been served by "Albert", who demonstrated how 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry enhanced our dining occasion. This, coupled with the overall competence of the dining room staff (under the guidance of an attentive Assistant Manager) made for a truly enjoyable evening.
