We recently used Ryan Thompson to refinance our home mortgage. He was very thorough in explaining what different options we had and made the application process as painless as it could be. I liked very much that we could supply all of our needed documentation and signatures online. After our initial sit down with Ryan, we didn't have to run back and forth to sign documents. We are extremely happy with the service received from Ryan Thompson and his team at Bank South Mortgage when we refinanced recently. Everyone did a great job communicating with us through the entire process. They made a complicated process seem easy. There is a huge advantage to doing business with a local business person who really cares about the service they provide and the accountability of building a reputation in the community (vs some distant person in a call center in another state).

I can't recommend BankSouth Mortgage enough. After a terrible customer service experience with a national bank, we moved to BankSouth just a few weeks before our scheduled closing date. Ryan and BankSouth Mortgage were still able to meet our original closing date all while providing fantastic customer service.
