The food was outstanding with one of the best steaks I have ever had. The decor is dated though, and could use a more intimate setting. The table we sat at was separated from the kitchen on one side by a glass pane so we had kitchen staff on the other side the whole time and a.super bright light shining into the corner of our eyes. That was the only negative though. Outstanding food and friendly staff. Overall 5 stars
We made a reservation well in advance for eight people. We were informed 10 minutes before our reservation time even arrived that our table was needed for another reservation in two hours and we were expected to be finished and gone. My response was, “I don’t even know how to respond to that.” The hostess nodded her head and left. Our food was mediocre at best. Steak was chewy and the baked potato was not great. Our food was also plated wrong. Too expensive for what it was.

Great staff and warm open place with great food, style and comfort.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Excellent choice for a business lunch. However, lunch prices are on the high side in today's economy. Aside from their steaks, similar lunch dishes at other good downtown restaurants seem to be about $5 less. They need to rethink their lunch menu to be more competitive.
Saltlik is def a fav when I come out to Calgary. The steaks are amazing..melt in your mouth. Or I just make a meal of incredible appies
This is not the first time it took a long time to get drinks. Not sure if it is lack of bartenders or lack of servers.
