The food was good and our server (Jane) was fantastic and very happy with the wine.
Went for the lobster mashed potatoes, which are awesome! Place definitely got noisier towards the end of the evening, and it is on the pricier side of steak places.
Loved our food, and our server, Colin, was helpful, friendly and funny. Don't miss the fire-grilled mushrooms.
Excellent meal - the steak was beautifully tender, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and nicely seasoned. Service was professional, attentive, and warm without being overly familiar, and there was none of the snobby pretentiousness of some steakhouses. Highly recommend Salklik if you want a good chunk of beef.
We had a really good meal on the patio. The steak was delicious and my husband was very impressed with his burger. The service was ok but would expect more from this type of restaurant.
Great drinks and wine selection. Fantastic location featuring a bustling and energetic atmosphere. Excellent serving staff very knowledgable and attentive. Try the Stampede Sour.
While the food was quite good, it wasn't fabulous. The waiter was pleasant and professional but the service was very slow. The dessert menu was very limited. The free wine when we arrived was a nice touch.
They were very busy on a Saturday night but I believe they usually are on a weekend. They mixed up our meals: one petite and one grand size steaks done the opposite of what was requested. Sent back no problem. Did have an issue that the server said to enjoy the potatoe and asparagus while your steak will take about 17 min (actually 35 min). Not the best steak in Calgary, maybe it was just the hype but it was a let down. Not happy with the food at all, probably won't be going back.
