Our service was really great. On the ball, quick lunch, busy, but great. We had salads with prawns and chicken, was great. Not super huge portions, but perfect for lunch. Will go back. Loved the outdoor atmosphere.
The service was great. The steaks that both of us ordered were very under cooked from what we had specified we wanted. Would definitely not come back on choice.
Overall, a nice place to dine. The only feedback I have is that I wish that Saltlik would bring back the beef carpaccio. It was truly one of the best I've had that included a kale salad with crostini's and was the perfect lunch size. I would have gladly spent my money weekly there if they had kept it on the menu.
For the price I paid I don't think it was really worth it.
A steakhouse should have no trouble serving a true rare steak; in fact it should be effortless. However, the steak I ordered 'true rare' was served 'medium'.
The place was LOUD. Expected it to have a quieter, relaxed atmosphere but it seemed like it was everyone's birthday and we were at Chuck E Cheese's. Our waitress seemed to keep forgetting about us. At the end we wanted to pay our bill and she was nowhere to be found. It took them 3 tries to bring me the black coffee I had ordered post-dinner. Food was great, and the service was great. Reason for 3 stars is it is overpriced for the food. Most expensive steak i paid for but not the best I have ever had thus wouldn't be trying it again.
Went here for a business lunch. The waitress wasn't the best, she kept forgetting which wine/beverages we'd ordered, which was a little funny since there were only two of us. The noise level was very low, however the place was almost 2/3rds empty. It was the Tuesday before Canada Day, so the whole core was really quiet anyways so perhaps this doesn't mean anything. The chef overcooked our CAB steaks twice. It still tasted OK and the manager took them both off the bill but it was disappointing as the menu claims they are world best. That may be true but not when they are not cooked to one's liking. Ran into Jason on his night off who also works in the kitchen. He was apologetic about our experience and claimed his steaks are always cooked to perfection so i will give them another chance but will take him up on his offer to cook the perfect steak.
