In the center of town close to hotels, conventions center and tower, this was a great choice for a steak dinner. The service was wonderful with true teamwork. The steaks were perfectly done. They are well seasoned and portions are generous. The atmosphere is comfortable and if in jeans you do not feel out of place. Would stop again if in the Calgary area.
Our meal was good, but our server seemed to want to move us out even though it was a Tuesday night and the place was just about empty. He must have been new, he tried, but service was just so so. Took a while to get drinks and bill came while we were still finishing our wine after dinner.
steak sandwich starting at 29 bucks? very small portion of salmon for 29 as well, hungry one hour later

This was our second time at the Saltlik and yet again, the experience was amazing! From the server to the food and VERY knowledgeable server. We'll be back!
Great Resto that has an elegant atmosphere but at a reasonable price point. Food is always tasty and delicious. Great place to celebrate an occasion or just enjoy a Romantic dinner and night out. Would recommend this Steakhouse over the more costlier and pretentious others in the core. You will not be disappointed with virtually any selection on the menu!!!
I make reservations at Saltlik when I want to have a very nice dining experience wrapped around a special occasion. The ambience is semi-formal and reflective of Calgary's fine dining scene - you can go in dressy jeans and sit next to the romantic couple all dressed up for the Opera. Both are acceptable. I've been coming to Calgary for over 15 years and always try to find time to eat here. Always good steaks.
Service was great....food...so so. Had the rib steak, they had a tough time hitting Chicago style. Management was great about it, but cooking skill lacked a bit. Not sure we'll return based on the cost/value equation.
