The food here is usually good - lots of variety for people for people who don't want steaks too. Have to say I had really poor service the last time I was there. Server was unfriendly and extremely slow. They seem to have had some staff changes recently - maybe that was the issue.

I took my wife for dinner last Sunday night and we had a wonderful time, first with dinner then we sat at the bar for a while after. From start to finish the staff was friendly, polite and efficient. For dinner my wife had the Grilled Salmon while I had the Valentine's special Prime Rib. A quality steak that failed to disappoint. Portions were properly set and the staff were knowledgable and friendly. I would take clients here.

Appetizers (tuna tartare and calamari) were superb. Pasta and steak salad entrees were average. Steak salad was meant to be chimichurri, but that seasoning was pretty much missing in action. Overall the meal was good, but overall value was not as strong as I'd have liked.
This may not bother anyone else, but after our delicious calamari appetizer we laid our knives and forks across our appetizer plate and when the server came to take away the plates she picked up the used fork and put it back on the table. Now when you are paying around $100 pp for dinner the restaurant should be able to afford to wash a couple of forks. Had a business dinner and wanted a quiet atmosphere. Waiters (multiple) were too attentive and frequently interrupted our discussion. Food was good but not great. Restaurant was busy which was a good sign in Calgary these days.
Have been here a lot times, everything was really good. Tuna tartare is my favourite.
