This year for a birthday treat, I choose Saltlik for an evening out. Arriving early for our reservation on the weekend they were still eager to seat us, even though they were not open yet for the evening. The celebration was shared with family and loved ones, the food was as always superb, the atmosphere was wonderful, as was the company. Our server was amazing, with remarkable customer service and a great sense of humour. I certainly foresee another visit in the future.
The food is always good. If you get in before the rush you don't have to wait too long for your food and can be out in 40 min. Always a good spot to impress.
Decided on Saltlik as a last minute decision for New Year's Eve dinner. Was able to get a table and ended up with a really nice booth. One of the main reasons we decided in this place was because of the xxx but they ened up discontinuing it so that was disappointing. Ordered prime rib, it wasn't bad but it was over cooked. Overall I liked the ambiance, the prices weren't bad and the location is nice and central on Stephen Ave.

Enjoyed the caesar salad and CAB sirloin with sticky toffee pudding for dessert - all good choices! Good service and nice ambience.
Saltlik has an excellent menu, fine food and service. The barbecue ribs are simply outstanding !
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who craves a really good steak, as they are "out-of-this-world" good. The service was very good, and the noise level was moderate even with a very active pre-theatre crowd. There were some children attending, well-dressed so we assume they were also heading to see a show of some kind, as there are several theatres in the immediately surrounding area.
Had a great night with great food and people. Saltlik has ambience, service and terrific food!
Great food but can get busy at lunch time. Service could be better during busy times.
