From sitting down to being able to getting a drink took 40 mins. We weren't able to order food until after an hour. We had a bottle of wine and had to serve ourselves. Our waitress was MIA for most of the night. They were playing 80s pop music all night which didn't really fit the decor.

My wife and I had very enjoyable experience for our anniversary. I enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and the food. We had a nice romantic dinner while others were enjoying family meals and still others looked to be having a meal before going out on the town.

This is our favourite steakhouse in the city - by far, no contest. The steaks are always well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We have never had anything here that we did not enjoy. Our favourite side is the lobster mashed potatoes - if you haven't tried it, you have to. The service is always good and you are never hounded during your meal nor are you forgotten. Not being a huge fan of steak houses, (I can cook a pretty great steak on my BBQ at home) I was not expecting to love this place. But it was a very welcome surprise on a frosty Sunday night. Warm, welcoming and an outstanding waiter made for a very pleasant experience. The French Onion Soup was excellent, and all other dishes were very good. Would recommend.

I likes the music they were playing (lots of old rock) but it was way too loud. Conversation with my guests was difficult. At the end of the dinner I was getting anxious to go. Rating above of "energenic" make it sound positive, but not for me.

Pulled pork sandwich was very spicy and flavourless. Ahi Tuna Salad was decent. I was at a business lunch and could neither hear anyone that I was eating with, nor be heard.

This was our first time to Saltlik and it was a true gem. We were seated near a fireplace which was very romantic. The service was wonderful and the wait for our food was not long. Food was delicious. Steaks were cooked exactly to order.
