Our waiter was not very attentive, as example he didn't bother to clear the emptied plates of the main course which were only taken out when we asked for the bill. No dessert question as well.
Our server was fantastic. She saw that the lava cake was overcooked (tasted burnt) so she made sure it was removed from the bill. Very friendly staff!

This restaurant is one I would definitely return to. They were so quick with our orders and everyone, not just our server, was very friendly. The food was pretty good, the appetizer and dessert were my favorites.
Great food. Reasonably priced. The only sour spot was our spaced out server. She was friendly, but brought my friend a Guiness when he asked for another beer. She was quick to recover, giving him the beer for free and then later bringing him the one that he wanted. He ordered a rare steak and received a medium rare steak. There were no issues with my meal.

It is located in a walking street, very convenient for a city walk.
Our Filet's were cooked to perfection. However, we talked the Saltlik up to our friends due to amazing experiences at the Banff location. This location did not live up to our hype unfortunately. The ambiance wasn't there. The service was mediocre. Our drinks, when they finally arrived, were well made. We are not in the habit of complaining about restaurants or their service. We felt as if we made a poor choice of where to eat when visiting Calgary. We have to say we will not be visiting Saltlik, Calgary again.
