Another rave review for Saltlik from me!! It has become our go-to place for special occasions. We’ve now gone 3 times and each time we have had amazing food, incredible service and were made to feel so special. I reserved for my birthday, using OpenTable. I detailed my dietary restrictions/allergies and what I would be ordering in order to make it easy to accommodate. Nice place, good service. Our only complaint was to do with the somewhat over-flavoured food. For us, the steak was appropriately seasoned, the Brussels sprouts were very highly flavoured and seasoned (and charred, and sauced … but then again, anything to disguise the taste of Brussels sprouts) but the side of mushrooms, described on the menu as “mushrooms” were really spicy. Great food as usual Service wasn’t great for some reason but it was busy Getting pretty pricey for level of restaurant
Fantastic food and beautiful ambient setting! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and drinks at Saltlik's great location right on Stephen Ave. Highly recommend indulging in their incredible desserts too, we were not disappointed! Also appreciate the speed of the food & drink service, we had an outing to get to afterwards and our food and drinks arrived with plenty of time to enjoy. Highly recommend!
A little on the pricier side for some menu items but overall was a delicious meal and our server was great and very attentive

My nephew raved about the Wagyu carpaccio. My french onion soup was delish. Our steaks were cooked perfectly the accompanying potatoes and brussel sprouts were so tasty! Disappointed they didnt have the butter cake for dessert as I was looking forward to it. Pricey though it seems to be all over now...reserve eating out for special occasions only these days.
A very NICE steakhouse in a heritage building in downtown Calgary. We were all there for lunch. I ordered a chicken salad....not much greens in it :) We were a group of people just hanging out. The restaurant is very spacious and it is great for large parties! I was at Saltik a few times before for happy hours. The Wagyu beef is AWESOME. I live nearby, so definity will be back many more times!!!
