We went to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. Upon arriving the four of us were offered a table but I asked the hostess for a booth as there were two empty booths near us. She checked and said no as already reserved. I said I wasn’t aware that I needed to request this on my reservation, as I had only mentioned it was a special birthday.
