Just starting my journey in learning to play guitar. I had purchased a CHEAP guitar from a yard sale and needed some accessories so I went to Sam Ash to get picks and a strap. The sales staff were very helpful and were never condescending to this newbie, even after they looked at my $20 guitar that I had bought elsewhere. They even offered free advice and evaluated my el-cheapo....never once down-talking it.
