I purchased an acoustic bass guitar from Sam Ash on the Reverb site. It was advertised as being in mint condition, did not come with a case so I ordered a case separately. When it arrived it had a large scratch in it. Sam Ash attributed it to shipping damage. This thing was immaculately packaged, wrapped in foam, in a form fitted box and that was inside a larger box supported with bubble wrap so it did not rattle around inside the outer box - very well packaged. Gibson Lp Special. Item as described. Really good guitar. Glad I got it. Checkout process was easy. Only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star was the packing job. Guitar in gig bag inside a box with some bubble wrap thrown in. Fine for Fender guitars, but I was worried about the headstock. Wish they would pack Gibson-style guitars a bit better - just in case.
