Apartment size is perfect! We're in a LARGE one bedroom. Staff is absolutely amazing!! We've never had a single interaction with a staff member that wasn't STELLAR! We'd recommend Sarabella to everyone! We chose Sarabella, as opposed to the larger options we saw because it was a much "homier" environment and EVERYONE was (and still is, after 5 months!) so pleasant!! We don't have a single regret!
Residents seemed very happy. Very clean and beautiful facility. I visited twice and the staff and the management were very informative and actually understood my concerns regarding the need to get my brother closer to family.
Very impressed with the facility as well as with the staff, and I feel it would fit my needs whenever I am ready to move on.
We are there now in our fifth month, many of the staff have changed, to the better. A lot has to do with the staff getting to know you and your needs. The manager [name removed]called a resident town hall meeting to get feedback about what residents would like to do, which was encouraging. The food most days is great and they do a good job dispensing the meds. I would give them a four and a half out of five.

We got a lot of attention and help at the beginning, but once we were in there, then we had to continue to follow up on things and ask for things to make sure that we were getting everything that comes with the package we pay for.

There is staff turnover and management changes just like everywhere else but I find they are always working on improvements and they value feedback from families.

I’ve toured several places in the Sarasota/Venice area and Sarabella stands out above them all. It’s a comfortable place that feels more like home than a facility. The staff I have observed obviously care about the residents. When you see staff calling residents by name as they greet them while walking down the hall, see servers remembering little things about resident’s preferences while taking their meal order time after time, hear residents praise those who care for them, you know Sarabella is doing things right.

I was told many times that something would happen, but that wasn't communicated to the right people and so it didn't. The yard is beautiful, activities are great, staff is very friendly and food is very good. The only downside is a lack of communication between care admin's and their respective staff. Potential residents should ask for specifics for what their own personal care plan will look like and then hold them to it!!
