I was an inpatient at Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital after my total knee replacement surgery. Overall, I was happy that I stayed there because they provide physical and occupational therapy THREE times per day for one hour. This is what I wanted to get back on my feet! Going to an outpatient PT place three times a week for one hour is NOT going to provide you with the intense physical therapy you need to get on your feet fast - therefore, I highly recommend Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne, FL for any physi... read more

My husband was a patient in February of 2019. Sea Pines was perfect for him. They challenged him while also respecting his limitations. He did so well that he was released in 2 weeks. Staff was courteous and kind. My only complaint was that nothing was done to provide continued out patient therapy for him. Speech therapy was super and got him eating solids in good time Hats off to that department.

I am a patient in sea pines Melbourne FL. To date 1-7-18 I am in for a left leg fracture /rehab. All of the staff has been excellent. However I am finding that the rehab dept. and the nursing staff dose not communicate vary well . Case and point . I need to keep ice on my leg to reduce swelling . The ice packs I get from the "rehab" dept. are the best for what I am here for though the ice packs I get from the nursing staff on the patient floor are not as efficient . In plane language they are just what they are "ice bags" ... read more

My husband has been in this rehab on two occasions, each lasting about 10 days. He requires acute care as well as physical & occupational therapy. Although the therapy sessions are good, the nursing care leaves a lot to be desired. It usually takes 45 minutes to an hour to get pain medication and response time at night is even longer. I believe the center is under staffed with nurses required to cover too many patients. I am requesting his doctors send us to a different rehab center when he has to go back in a couple of week... read more

Sea Pines prior to Encompass Health was an amazing place to heal and get back into life after surgery or a traumatic injury or relearning how to walk. Now I would never step foot in that place again nor would I allow a loved one to go there. Night is pure hell with mean nurses who are abusive to patients telling them to shut up and go to bed when wanting a blanket, to arguing over medications, failing to give medications. The pain doctor literally lied to me for 5 days and was confrontational with me when I requested a ne... read more
