seacoast Bank is the worst on the planet. I would not go to any branch if I could I would give it a -10 people bank are nice in management or whatever you wanna call of the bank or dictators they decide what you can and cannot do with your money through Zelle. If they don't like what you're doing, even though it is not fraudulent, they will close your account so do not bother to go to Seacoast Bank at all!!!!!

I was 10 days late on my credit line due to hurricane melton. Seacoast Bank file lawsuit against me, legal fees approximately $5900 just 10 days late due to hurricane melton.

I worked with Seacoast for a construction to permanent mortgage loan. The officer I worked with for the loan, John, has been great. Other than John, however, working was Seacoast has been very disappointing. Their online banking system is terrible. I was working with them for several weeks to figure out my loan payment issues. Apparently they couldn't figure out the tech issues, and I had been assessed a late fee. They acknowledged it was their fault and took it off. Apparently this wasn't communicated to the loan services d... read more

I can go on and on about why to not use this bank. I am so tired of talking about it with them, I don't feel like writing about it anymore. Just look at the other terrible reviews. Do you really want to give your money to a bank that has a 1.5 star review!! Okay, I'll say, I am currently on hold waiting for someone, anyone to answer the phone, 24 minutes so far as I type this. Every month without fail, they lose thousands of dollars from my account in their online ledger, sometimes from several months ago. Yesterday my ac... read more

My bank was bought out by Seacoast Bank, and it has been the worst banking experience of my whole life. They're by far an unreliable bank and impossible to get a hold of. All I've needed was just a proof of funds letter, and it's proved to be an impossible request. I'll definitely be closing my accounts as soon. As I'm near a branch again.

Business response:

This review is based on my recent experience applying for a HELOC. I have steady income with zero debt and a FICA score of 802. No car payments, no mortgages, or other such loans because I pay for purchases with cash. Of course I relied on loans years ago like most people before I had the financial resources to pay for things outright following the financial and life guidance of Dave Ramsey. The main reason I wanted a HELOC was to obtain some tax benefits while doing some home improvement work and the bank knew this backgrou... read more

I have been with Seacoast for over 8 years. Cosigned a loan for my son in the service. I have better than excellent credit. The hoops for a small amount of money and the interest rate were insulting. Unfortunately, my son has to head back to base, no time to go anywhere else. Will be moving my accounts as soon as i possibly can.

This bank is pathetic, their lending criteria excludes anyone who has switched jobs recently regardless of debt to income, credit score or income history. That's ok, I'll keep my business with other banks that like customers who aren't living check to check.
