Seacoast bank is difficult to deal with. They purchased the First Green Bank and that building is so awful. You can't see in the drive through window, so you have to use the call button on the vacuum tubes which I can't reach since I drive an SUV. I waited at the drive through for 5 minutes one time, so I drove around the bank and used the ATM, but you can't withdraw from savings from the ATM. That is why I am switching banks... Very Frustrating
I have had the worst experience with their customer "service". While traveling in another country my bank card was skimmed. Unauthorized withdrawals of large sums of money were taken from my account. When I contacted Seacoast, their first question was "are we sure we didn't withdraw the money and just don't remember?" The question seems like how someone would respond to a toddler who just spilled milk. It has been three weeks since I brought this to their attention. Each message from them is as if it is the first message,... read more
Just recently someone was able to draw funds from my account. It seems they combined my Seacoast check with a Fidelity check & over drew my checking account. Having something called PROTEK, my savings account was transferred to my checking in order to keep the $7000 check from bouncing. My signature was never on these checks (3 in total). I was reimbursed for these checks but I am scared to keep my money inn this bank. The police nor the bank have no answers as to how this happened !!
When looking for a construction to permanent mortgage, Seacoast was never considered. I spent about six weeks providing massive amounts of personal financial and other information to a Fifth Third Bank loan officer. He abruptly left them carrying out all of our documents with him and leaving no file with Fifth Third. He said he could continue the process with better terms at his new bank, Seacoast. His behavior made us very uncomfortable and there were no reviews online for Seacoast mortgages but in the interest of time ... read more
So bad. Call center is great but branch is AWFUL. Pulling all my money ASAP, don't bother with them.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK! their customer service is some of the worst that I have ever experienced, and at 60 years of age that's quite an accomplishment. I recently e-mailed and asked for the payoff amount of my mortgage. as a retired finance manager in the automobile business I know that a payoff is available via computer in seconds. it took Seacoast over a week and two calls to get the payoff amount. yesterday my mortgage statement arrived and on a second page was a $25.00 "ESTOPPEL PROC FEE". on 5/27/16 I called for an e... read more
My wife and I have been Floridian Bank customers for many years. Seacoast is taking over and the account we've had FREE will now cost $7 per month. We've had banks take over our bank several times and, in all cases, our terms have been grand-fathered in. In one case I still have the same terms for an account I opened 20 years ago, that has been taken over by another bank twice. We will both be closing our accounts prior to Seacoast conversion. IMHO Seacaost is a SHYSTER bank,
Do not walk away from this bank trying to get a loan. RUN, the process will drive you crazy. They will give hope just to disappoint you time and time again. The team if you can call it that is just a big rats nest of hoops. They should take stars away for the service they gave me.
When I started my checking and savings account, there were no fees for either. Suddenly there is a "maintenance" fee when my savings account dropped below $500. Thankfully I used this account as a reserve account and I keep all of my funds with a better bank. I was just about to transfer all of my funds here (work direct deposits, think about buying a house, etc), until this happened. They withdrew so much money in "maintenance" fees that my savings account was closed. When I went in to discuss this, the lady was very r... read more
