Everybody is short handed right now and it is hard to keep people working. They are doing the best that they can here under the difficult circumstances of the world right now. Overall I would still recommend Seagrass Village of Port Orange to others looking, I even recommended it to another family members.
I would tell others Seagrass Village is nice and new. They have three levels of care. The staff seem to be in tune with what the residents needs are. On the weekends it seems they don't have enough staff. My loved one is doing well and is getting attention from the staff they need. The staff is very good to work with. The upper management is excellent. The laundry attendants and caregivers are excellent as well. This is a beautiful Community, very clean and staff members are friendly. The front desk person was very welcoming and kind. They have a great activities program! They have many options to chose from and the food is delicious.
We are not happy at all with the caregivers in the evenings. There is a shortage of help and my loved one is bedridden and does not get the care that is needed. The day time caregivers are wonderful.
We had a great tour experience with Seagrass Village. It is a brand new facility so everything was super clean and sparkling, all of the staff were really kind. The rooms are beautiful but they are smaller. We did not see many residents out and about and we were looking for a place that had a lot going on.
The staff have been very easy to work with, and very available. Sometimes the wheels turn slow in communities; however, I can reach out to someone and am satisfied with the response time. There is nothing I would change.
Great, would suggest this facility to friends and family.
This place is like paradise. (Like Disney Resort) We are very spoiled and happy!
I have no complaints about this community. The food is excellent and the service too. The front desk is very helpful and activities are great!
