It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. We love the Shrimp Basket, but was disappointed this trip. We ordered an appetizers and never got it. I had to tell them just to take it off the ticket. My husbands whole meal was overcooked, his grilled shrimp was dry, his rice was hard and they forgot to bring his slaw. My daughter got no bread with her gumbo. I chalk it up to being new. So we will give them another shot in a few months, when they get all there kinks worked out.
The food was really good. The servers were friendly and knowlegeable. We will definitely go back.
