It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Love this place! I am so glad we finally got one in Cullman! I always looked forward to going when we went to the beach and now we have in here.....but I still love going to the beach!!!!
Visited the Cullman location of Shrimp Basket last night for AYCE Steamed Shrimp. The place was crowded but they got us seated in reasonable time. Our server was Amber....and she was AWESOME!!!! Even though she was very busy, she paid attention to us and was very timely with the food and drinks....and with a smile every time! Great food! Great service! Great experience!!!
Very good and reasonable priced seafood! I recommend the shrimp cooked just about anyway! Fried oysters are good!

Been open since May 1, 2019. It’s been packed for 6 weeks. Went today June 10th for lunch. Spoiler alert. My husband & I are from Louisiana, so we know good seafood. I got the 1/2 oyster 1/2 shrimp basket. Hubby got the 1/2 shrimp 1/2 white fish (cod). It was awesome. Fried & seasoned to perfection. The service was great as well.
