I've been taking my pets there for 20 years. Their care and service is unmatched. Dr Geiken is my vet, but I've used them all at one point and every one has been terrific. Jackie, the front desk, and the techs are equally knowledgeable and kind. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.
We don't live locally, and had to make an unexpected appointment for our dog, Leinie, while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The staff was kind, supportive, and professional. Their experience and confidence made us feel comfortable in a very scary situation. I was especially impressed with the amount of time and attention they gave us. Dr. Marheine worked with us for almost two hours and went over all the details of the course of treatment. Dr. Banks is without a doubt the best vet we have ever visited. I've never once felt rushed and she always walks through the pricing so you actually know not only what you're purchasing but why. Most importantly her love for animals shines through every time she walks in the room. She will actually get on the floor and play with my dog which is something I've never experienced with any other vets. I cannot say enough good things about her. We have used Small Animal Hospital for years. My family has always brought our animals to Small Animal Hospital and they have always taken the best care of them. They're one of the best, thorough and well-knowledged group of veterinarians I could have asked for. Now that I'm older I bring my dog to Small Animal Hospital. I would not have it any other way!
